INDONESIAN NATIONAL ROWING ASSOCIATION
Musi Triboatton 2013 is water sports event crossing the Musi River from upstream to downstream as far as about 500 kilometers.
LOCATION: Musi River, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Musi Triboatton 2013 is starting from Tanjung Raya, Pendopo in District Empat Lawang which is 300 kilometers (taken 6-8 hours drive) from Palembang capital city of South Sumatra Province. Finish point located on the bridge of the Musi River in the center of Palembang. Large ship is also used as mother boat to carrier floating Base Camp will be provided for each team as part of the accommodation during the session Musi Triboatton apart from accommodation or campsite along routes across the river. Triboatton means the three types of boats; river boat, canoe boat and traditional boat racing or dragon boats that will be used during the event Musi Triboatton 2013. Safety and Rescue team will always be on duty for all participants Musi Triboatton 2013, also P3K and ambulance teams will be ready for implementation of this event.
ACTIVITIES: Musi Triboatton 2013 is the cruising and sightseeing activities around the Musi River as far as 500 kilometers. Musi Triboatton 2013 is a national rowing events on international scale that combined with natural tourism and cultural attractions around the Musi River in South Sumatra.
Criteria Musi Triboatton
Rafting: Rafting or whitewater rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor activity using inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water with a capacity of 7 people.
Canoeing: is a small, relatively narrow, human-powered boat primarily designed to be manually driven by a double blade paddle tool to force fit for two people and two teams each participant canoe.
Traditional Boat: boat length made of fiberglass or wood that is normally used for competitive rowing on the river or lake with a carrying capacity for 12 people including the driver and a drummer.
The participant estimated from 10 countries and Indonesia, as the host Musi Triboatton 2013 Competition. Each team consists of 12 athletes with the ability to master the 3 types of ships that are contested. The committee will close the registration once the number of participants "full team". The winner will be selected from the best value in terms of race wins every type of boat and other aspects of the Musi Triboatton 2013.
Raise awareness of local and international tourists as well as education about tourism to the community of South Sumatra province. Through events Musi Triboatton 2013, is expected to drive micro-economic activities and employment opportunities throughout the opening of the event and to increase public awareness of the environment, especially along the banks of the Musi River and overall in general.
Local and international awareness will have an impact on cross-sectoral development that will spur the development of infrastructure and open access to the market area and investment opportunities.
Achieved expectations Musi Triboatton 2013 as an international event will be the pride of tourism in the province of South Sumatra and greater exposure opportunities which tourism in South Sumatra Province is not optimal
Increased exposure to tourism will be faster with love and pride of the people of the potential tourism
Foster positive character through competition and exploration.
AWARDS: Each individual winner will receive a prize as follows: Medals, Charter, Money (IDR 300.000.000 ) separately for:
Overall Champion (Winner of 1, 2, & 3) the team with the highest score of all branches that are contested rowing
Stage Champion (Champion 1, 2 & 3) the team with the highest score from each stage of the entire rowing race is contested.
A. Saturday, November 16, 2013; Arrival Participants, registration, Opening Ceremony.
B. Sunday, November 17, 2013; mobilization to the race start point at Empat Lawang, training and the introduction of environmental and Technical Meeting.
C. Monday, November 18, 2013; Stage 1, Padang Tepung – Tebing Tinggi: River boat, Kayaking, Dragon boat.
D. Tuesday, November 19, 2013; Stage 2, Tebing Tinggi - Muara Kelingi 110 km: Cruising Mother Boat, Dragon Boat.
E. Wednesday, November 20, 2013; Stage 3, Muara Kelingi - Sekayu 110 km: Cruising Mother Boat, River Boat, Kayaking, Dragon Boat.
F. Thursday, November 21, 2013; Stage 4, Sekayu - Banyuasin 90 km: Cruising Mother Boat, River Boat, Kayaking, Dragon Boat.
G. Friday, November 22, 2013; Stage 5, Banyuasin - Palembang 90 km: Cruising Mother Boat, River Boat, Kayaking, Dragon Boat, Closing Ceremony.
H. Saturday, November 23, 2013; All participant to coming out
Regulations refer to the competition rules of international rowing and rafting are tailored to the circumstances of the Musi Triboatton race;
The main boats for a team consist of 12 athletes, 1 people manager, 1 coach, 1 technician. Facilities: Accommodation and Meal Facilities. Race Facilities: 1 (one) river boat for each team with 6 (six) athletes, 1 (one) double inflatable canoe for each team with 2 (two) athletes. 1 (one) TBR for each team to 12 (twelve) the athlete.
The average temperature in the daytime weather in October is 28-32 degrees Celsius at night.
RIVER WATER DISCHARGE:
The average water flow is 3-5 m / s
START FINISH ALTITUDE :
Start the race held from Tanjung Raya Pendopo pavilion, Empat Lawang District 1500 feet ASL. Finish at the bridge, downtown Palembang in South Sumatra 200 feet ASL.
EXERCISE TRAINING :
Training is available at 1 (one) day prior to the event start.
Each competitor is responsible to insure health insurance and accident insurance.

PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION FORM :
Must be submitted to the event organizer's contact person before October 15th, 2013
FINAL REGISTRATION FORM :
Must be submitted to the event organizer's contact
person on October 20th, 2013.

ARRIVAL AT ENTRY POINT :
The team reports directly to the Musi Triboatton 2013 team and immigration officials on arrival to the table that has been set for visa clearance
COMPOSITION OF DELEGATION :
1 person Head of Delegation/ Manager, 1 coach, 1 technician, and 12 athletes rowers.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS :
Companion, who will be expected to make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodation and food.
The committee will help to provide the names of hotels etc.
The committee will provide support to the visa application.
Companion, who are responsible for their own insurance.
20. COUNTRIES THAT HAVE REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATED AS TEAM :
Quota of Musi Triboatton participants is limited, then immediately enroll as soon as possible. Participants from all countries and Indonesia as the host of the competition Musi Triboatton 2013.
21. VISAS :
If you are from a country that requires a visa to enter the Republic of Indonesia, visa support can be provided when required passport details provided.
Passport page with details for all participants must be scanned and sent to musitriboatton2013@ on October 15th, 2013 + 1 passport photo (jpg extension) with the background.
